TripleTree I Award® Call for Applications (EXTENDED TO March 8, 2010)
The TripleTree I Award® for the Wireless-Life Sciences Alliance recognizes innovation, insight and initiative within wireless life sciences and mobile health industry sectors. And, twelve I Award® finalists will get to attend and present in panel discussion at the invitation-only Wireless-Life Sciences Alliance (WLSA) Investor’s Meeting on May 11, 2010 in San Diego.

Award applicants will be asked to clearly articulate how their application or solution can reduce healthcare costs and improve healthcare outcomes in one of three categories. A panel of independent judges (Wireless-Life Sciences Alliance) will choose the twelve finalists, and from this group, three winners will be selected.

I Award® Categories:

Best Operational Effectiveness Solution — The mobile or wireless solution that reduces costs and improves operational efficiency.

 Best Clinical Application — The mobile or wireless life science solution that enriches clinical care.

 Best Consumer Experience Solution — State-of-the art mobile or wireless experience for the consumer or patient.

The TripleTree I Award® program recognizes innovation, insight and initiative within wireless life sciences and mobile health industry sectors.

Three winners will be selected from the 12 finalists.

As consumer-driven health has evolved over the years, health insurers have had to react to constant changes in market and consumer-demand, causing the health plan market to make large and recurring investments in their products, consumer brands, and core distribution channels to remain competitive and stave off new market entrants.

Triple Tree believes we are in a third wave of consumer-driven health; a time which will drive health insurers to attempt to shed historic operating models and reinvent themselves as true business-to-consumer/retail-based enterprises.

The WLSA will conduct an Investor’s Meeting in conjunction with the annual Summit.  The format consists of brief “no PPT” presentations by twelve award winning company leaders in a roundtable setting that includes strategic and financial investors.  Presenters will include relevant regional companies and companies with particularly innovative business or scientific advances.  These companies will be vetted through a competitively judged process through the Triple Tree I Award Program prior to May.
