Wireless Life Sciences present the Triple Tree iAward

Wireless Life Sciences Alliance (WLSA) and Triple Tree announce the 7th annual “Call for Applications” for the 2012 TripleTree iAwards. The prestigious iAward was created in 2009 exclusively for WLSA to showcase companies with disruptive solutions that demonstrate innovation, insight, and initiative in the healthcare industry and improve delivery of care for patients and health consumers. Presentation of the iAward will commence on May 24 during the Convergence Summit and each of the finalists will have a scheduled time to present their technology. Twelve finalists representing three categories will be chosen by a distinguished panel of judges which comprise investors, executives and advisors from WLSA, Triple Tree and Cooley, LLP.

All iAward candidates are judged based upon five primary criteria:

• Uniqueness of business model
• Growth and marketplace traction
• Clinical/operational/consumer relevance
• Size of addressable market
• International exposure
• Improves patient delivery of care

The 2012 iAwards for Wireless Health will be presented in three categories:

1. Operational Effectiveness – Best solution for reducing costs and improving operational efficiency
2. Clinical Application – Best solution that enriches clinical care
3. Consumer Experience – Best solution to enrich the consumer or patient experience

2011 I Award Winners

Solutions will be judged based upon measurable benefits delivered including:

• Decreased costs and improved workflow efficiency for providers and/or payers
• Improved patient compliance and accountability
• Improved access and distribution of patient health information
• Improved decision-making for providers and/or care managers
• Increased patient and/or caregiver education
• User-friendly with high adoption rates across diverse populations
• Improved patient-provider communications and care management
• Improved chronic disease and illness management
• Improved health condition monitoring and diagnostic capabilities
• Improved data management and analysis
• Improved health outcomes and care quality

Applications for the 2012 iAWARDs for Wireless Life Sciences will be accepted starting January 11, 2012, and must be submitted no later than March 30, 2012. The CEO or Founder of the company is strongly encouraged to attend to receive the award and speak on the company’s behalf. Finalists will be given approximately 8 minutes to present during the Investors Forum.
